The best eight men’s singles tennis players and the best eight men’s doubles teams of the season qualify to compete in the prestigious Barclays ATP World Tour Finals held in the fall in November on hard courts.( 5.11 -12.11, 2012). Last year Roger Federer won a record-breaking sixth circuit final title over Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. The associated APT World Tour Master 1000 competition consists of nine tournaments played in Indian Wells, Miami, Monte Carlo, Roma, Madrid, Canada, Cincinnati, Shanghai and Paris. Expect great cleb watching – in the past Royalty, actors, sports stars, and music stars have been seen courtside at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.

Only the top eight players (or teams) with the most countable points accumulated in Grand Slam, ATP World Tour, and Davis Cup tournaments during the year qualify for the prestigious Barclays ATP World Tour Finals held at The O2 arena in London on indoor hard courts every November. Roger Federer won a record-breaking sixth circuit finale title in 2011 with victory over Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the championship match. By winning his 1st round match at Wimbledon on June 26th, Rafael Nadal became the first to technically qualify for the 2012 tournament. Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer qualified later in the tournament by both making the semi-finals. The first three qualifiers were announced together, during the Wimbledon tournament, they were Roger Federer,Novak Djokovic, and Rafael Nadal.
